India vs England: The first match of the 5-match T20 series between India and England was played on 22 January at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. While Samson was out after scoring 26 runs, Abhishek did not give any chance to England to come back by scoring runs at a fast pace while handling the innings from one end. A brilliant innings of 79 runs was seen from Abhishek’s bat, while the Indian team achieved this target in 12.5 overs at the loss of 3 wickets. Team India won the match in 12.5 overs. The Indian team has taken a 1-0 lead in the series by winning the first match of the 5-match T20 series against England by 7 wickets. Team India was given a target of 133 runs by England, which they chased in just 12.5 overs at the loss of 3 wickets. Abhishek Sharma played a brilliant innings of 79 runs for the Indian team. Now the second match of the series between the two teams will be played in Chennai on January 25.
