Rachakonda: Rachakonda police are consulting experts from various parts of the country to solve the case of an ex-army man (army man ) allegedly killing his wife, chopping her body into pieces and boiling it in a pressure cooker. The officers are facing a challenging situation as they are yet to recover the body parts, though the suspect Gurumurthy has already been arrested. Addressing a press conference, Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu said the case is still being treated as a “missing person case”.
“She (wife) has not been seen for some time. So a case has been registered. Since the woman is missing and such information came to us later, we are working on it. No body has been found yet. So there is a different way of investigating the case,” the police officer said. “It is a missing person case at the moment. We are investigating the matter and involving experts from not only our state but also other parts of the country,” he said.
