Hindi is not anyone’s mother tongue. Ask the person whom you hit under the ear yesterday what is his language? He said that if Marathi language does not enter someone’s ears then it is necessary to hit below the ears. Raj Thackeray said that if you want to live in Maharashtra then you will have to learn Marathi. Actually, on 29th June, workers of Raj Thackeray’s party beat up a shopkeeper in Mira Road because he was talking in Hindi. This dispute escalated. Businessmen protested and the matter also went to the police. Therefore, today Raj Thackeray went to Mira Road and supported his workers.
It should ring below the ears
Raj Thackeray said. “The incident that happened that day when a sweet vendor was beaten up. If Marathi is not understood by the ears, then it should ring under the ears. What happened was that after the rally, when people went to buy water, the sweet vendor asked why are you taking out a rally? Our people told that the GR for strict Hindi has been cancelled for that. So that person said that Hindi is used here and because of the misbehavior he showed, it should have been read under his ears and it was read. These traders called for a bandh for him. Did they beat you up? They haven’t done it yet. If you don’t want to understand the subject, if you call for a bandh under the pressure of a political party without understanding it, then do you think Marathi traders are not there? How long will you keep it closed? We will take something only then the shop will run, right? If you want to live in Maharashtra, then live peacefully. Learn Marathi. We have no quarrel with you. But if you have fun, then you will definitely be punished.”
My Hindi is good but I won’t speak it
Hindi has killed about 250 languages in the country. In Bihar, even today people speak their mother tongue, not Hindi. Hanuman Chalisa is not in Hindi but in Awadhi. I love all languages. My Hindi is better than all the leaders in Maharashtra. But I will not say it.. Raj Thackeray accused that Hindi language is the first step, later their dream is to merge Mumbai with Gujarat. Raj Thackeray said- ‘BJP MP, what is his name Dubey.. he said that Marathi people will be beaten to death. Dubey, you come to Mumbai, we will kill you by drowning you in the sea.’
What did Nishikant Dubey say?
In fact, after the incident of beating up Hindi speaking people, a statement of BJP MP Nishikant Dubey came. In this he said that if those who beat up Hindi speaking people in Mumbai have the courage, then try killing Urdu speaking people in Maharashtra, even a dog is a lion in their own house. Decide for yourself who is a dog and who is a lion. Nishikant Dubey had said, “Whose bread are you eating? Tata, Birla, Reliance do not even have units in Maharashtra. Tata even built its first factory in Bihar when Jharkhand was with it. You are surviving on our money, what taxes do you pay? Which industry do you have? Do we have all the mines or Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh have them? Madhya Pradesh has them, Odisha has them but which mines do you have?”
