Iran will be bombed: Trump(Trump)

Washington: US President Donald Trump  (Trump) said on Sunday that Iran will be bombed if it does not reach an agreement with him over its nuclear program. Along with this, he has also talked about imposing additional tariffs on Iran. Trump said, “If they don’t reach an agreement, there will be bombing. But there is also a possibility that if they don’t reach an agreement, I will impose secondary tariffs on them, as I did four years ago.”

Donald Trump withdrew the US from the nuclear deal with Iran during his first term as president. In this agreement, strict restrictions were imposed on Tehran’s controversial nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief. After the agreement ended, Iran has stockpiled uranium. Iran has collected much more uranium than the limit set for non-nuclear countries.

What did Iran say on talks with the US?

Donald Trump’s remarks came on a day when Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the Islamic Republic rejects direct talks with the United States over its nuclear program. “We do not avoid talks. It is the breach of promise that has caused us problems so far. They have to prove that they can maintain trust,” Pezeshkian said in a televised statement during a cabinet meeting.

Pezeshkian had kept the door open for talks until Iran’s 85-year-old supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei strongly objected to Trump in February and warned that talks with his administration were “not worthy of wisdom, intelligence or respect.”

Iran said – American bases are within our reach

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said on Friday that Iran could easily attack US bases in the Middle East. He said, “The Americans themselves know how vulnerable they are. If they violate Iran’s sovereignty, it will be like a spark in a gunpowder depot, which will set the whole region on fire. In such a situation, their bases and their allies will not be safe.” Iran’s comment came in response to Trump’s letter dated March 12.
