Earthquake and tsunami caused devastation in Russia(Earthquake ) 

Tokyo: Even the 8.8 magnitude super powerful earthquake    (Earthquake )  that struck Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula in the early hours could not shake the courage of doctors. When this terrible earthquake struck, doctors were performing surgery on some patients in a hospital. During this time, the entire operation theatre started shaking. Despite this, the doctors did not stop the operation and continued the surgery. RT has quoted the report of the Russian Health Ministry saying that the patient is completely healthy after the operation.

They continued to perform surgery till the end

Doctors can be clearly seen performing surgery in the swaying operation theatre during the earthquake. The earthquake was so powerful that the entire building was seen shaking rapidly. But the doctors did not stop performing surgery. They continued their work till the end. The doctors stopped their surgery only when the operation was completed. Everyone is praising this courage of the doctors.

Tsunami waves rise in the Pacific Ocean
The earthquake that struck Russia’s Far East in the early hours of Wednesday triggered a tsunami in the North Pacific region and a warning was issued for Alaska and Hawaii in the US and south of New Zealand. Tsunami warning sirens started ringing in Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii in the US, on Tuesday and people were asked to move to higher places. The Japan Meteorological Agency said that the first wave of a tsunami about 30 cm high reached Nemuro on the east coast of Hokkaido.

There have been reports of damage and people being evacuated to safer places in the Russian region near the Kamchatka Peninsula, the epicentre of the earthquake. Local governor Valery Limarenko said that the first wave of the tsunami reached the coastal area of Severo-Kurilsk, the main settlement of Russia’s Kuril Islands in the Pacific Ocean.
