New Delhi: US President Donald Trump made a big disclosure on Thursday and said that an attempt was made to change the government in India using millions of dollars received through USAID. He said that the aid being given to India through USAID showed that the money would be spent to increase voter turnout in India, but it was used to influence the Indian elections. This funding was given in the name of strengthening democracy. Out of this amount, 21 million dollars, or about 182 crore rupees, were also sent to India. Trump questioned this and asked why does India need American help to increase voter turnout? Pointing towards the Biden administration, Trump said that with this funding, the US government wanted to change the rule of Narendra Modi in India.

Connection of the aid with George Soros also came out
After Donald Trump’s statement, politics in India heated up because the organization through which the aid received from USAID was used also has a connection with George Soros. George Soros has many times announced to run a campaign to remove Narendra Modi’s government in India. The big thing is that when the money received from USAID in the name of increasing voter turnout in India was claimed that Dalit and backward class voters in India participate less in voting, so this money will be used to reach out to these sections, to encourage them to vote.
Ravi Shankar Prasad targeted Congress

BJP leaders connected all these links and that is why today party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Trump’s revelations have made it clear that the funding that was coming from America till now was being used to influence the elections in India and to topple the Narendra Modi government.
‘American aid has no connection with Congress’
BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said that Congress has always been in cahoots with anti-national forces so that it can somehow capture power again. He said that when Congress is not able to defeat Modi in direct elections, it is taking help from anti-India people like George Soros. In response to BJP’s allegations, Congress said that USAID helps in many schemes in India, if there is any doubt then the government should bring a white paper on USAID’s funding in India. Congress leader Tariq Anwar said that Trump’s words cannot be taken seriously because American aid has no connection with Congress.
