After marriage, I sometimes felt embarrassed about the education difference between the two. However, from one perspective, whenever I have to ask or understand something, I easily get advice.’

No regrets on my decision – Shilpa Shirodkar

Shilpa further says- ‘My husband is a very simple and good person in real life. It was very important for me to start a new life with him. I have no regrets about the fact that I left Mumbai at one time. If I had got married in India itself, then perhaps I would have been able to continue my work, but I have no regrets on my decision.’ Shilpa admitted that she had never thought of leaving Mumbai or India, but after meeting Aparesh for the first time, her perspective changed.

I had never thought of leaving Mumbai – Shilpa Shirodkar

Continuing her talk, Shilpa said – ‘It was an easy decision because it was my own choice. When you do something of your choice, everything starts to seem easy. I did not want to leave Mumbai because I was very close to my parents. But then I met Aparesh and in just one and a half days I said yes, even though I knew that he would not stay in India but would go abroad for studies. I liked his honesty so much that without thinking much I said yes and then everything started happening on its own.’
