PCB had to face humiliation (PCB )

Singapore: Pakistani cricket   (PCB )     team has to go on West Indies tour in the month of August to play a series of three ODIs and three T20 matches. Now a big problem has arisen regarding this tour. Pakistan Cricket Board had demanded from West Indies Cricket Board that it will play only T20 series and the number of matches of that series should be increased. PCB had made this demand keeping in mind the T20 World Cup to be held next year. Due to this reason, they were avoiding playing ODIs. Now West Indies Board has completely rejected their demand.
This was said about the tour
PCB source said that West Indies Board officials told PCB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sumair Ahmed during the ICC meeting in Singapore that they will not replace the ODI series with T20 matches. Pakistan had requested the West Indies Board to cancel three ODIs and extend the T20 series to five or six matches. West Indies Board officials clearly told the PCB in Singapore that there will be no change in the schedule or format of the series. It is now up to the PCB whether they want to tour or not.

Sale of ODI matches started

PCB sources said that West Indies Board officials were adamant on their point. They had already started selling tickets for T20 matches in Florida and ODI matches in Trinidad. The source said that now it is up to the PCB to take the next step as it has not yet announced the team for the West Indies tour.

T20 matches will be held in America

The matches of the T20 series will be played in Lauderhill, Florida in America. Which are to be held on August 1, 3 and 4. At the same time, three matches of the ODI series will be held in Tarouba, Trinidad, which will be played on August 8, 10 and 12.
