This black box will be investigated. ( black box)

Ahmedabad: Air India’s plane AI 171 crashed on June 12 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. After this incident, there is a stir in the whole country. Meanwhile, officials have confirmed that the black box     ( black box)   of the plane has been recovered from the wreckage of the crashed plane. Let us tell you that the black box is called EFAR (Voice and Data Recorder). Its full name is Enhanced Airboard Flight Recorder. The black box has been handed over to AAIB, which is investigating this matter. National President of Council of Indian Aviation Nitin Jadhav has also confirmed this. By finding the black box, it can be known how this accident happened and what was happening in the plane in the last moments. In such a situation, let us now tell what will be the next procedure after the black box is found?

What will be the next procedure?

After finding the black box, it will be investigated. The black box can be examined in 2 ways. If the black box is examined in India, then its report may take 2 to 4 days to come. On the other hand, if the black box is examined by Boeing Company or Boeing’s engine manufacturing company (General Engine) examines it, then this report may take 10 to 15 days to come, because the headquarters of General Engine is located in Seattle, America. In such a situation, there may be a delay in the report.

What is a black box?

The black box is an electronic device, which is mainly used in airplanes. Its job is to record data and cockpit conversations during flight. There are two components in the black box. The first is the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and the second is the Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR), which provide important information in accident investigation.

What is the function of CVR?
The conversation taking place in the cockpit is recorded in the CVR. In simple words, when the plane comes from the taxi bay to the runway and when it takes off, the conversation between the pilot and the co-pilot in the cockpit is recorded in the CVR. That is, in this accident, from the time the pilot sits in the plane till the accident, their conversation, the problems they faced, what they did and what calls they might have taken, all this is recorded. During this, whether the pilot or the co-pilot made any mistake, what commands did they give, all this is recorded.

What is the function of DFDR?

Information about mechanical, technical and electrical operating data is recorded in DFDR. Was there a problem in the engine of the plane, or was there any technical or mechanical problem or any electrical problem. All this is known from the data of DFDR.

What could be the possibilities of the accident?

If we look at the possibilities of the plane accident, then the pilot’s mistake does not seem to be visible in this accident. The immediate reason could be that the locking system would have broken due to overloading of the plane and the load would have shifted to the rear after take off, which would have put load on the engine. Apart from this, the second reason could be that the engines stop working only when either there is pressure due to overload, fuel is not able to reach the engine or there is some problem with the fuel. In such a situation, the engines stop working. Therefore, the fuel should also be checked. Apart from this, the third reason could be that the elevator on the tail side of the plane stopped working during take off or there was some problem in it.
