Washington: US President Donald Trump hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (Zelensky ) and top European leaders at the White House on Monday. This meeting is being held at the White House in Washington, the purpose of which is to find a way to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Zelensky has brought European leaders together in this meeting so that solidarity can be shown in front of Trump. Trump received Zelensky at the White House after which a meeting took place between the two leaders. Both the leaders have also issued several statements regarding ending the war.
A way can be found to end the war – Trump
During the meeting at the White House, US President Donald Trump has said that he hopes that a way to peace will be found today. He said that if everything goes well, there will also be a trilateral meeting. Trump has said that we are all working together for peace. This dialogue will provide a permanent solution to the war. The ceasefire will stop the killing of people. Donald Trump further said that this is not his last meeting with Zelensky. Trump has said that after this meeting a way can be found to end the war. Trump has said that both Putin and Zelensky want to end this war. According to the AP report, Trump has said that he will talk to Russian President Putin after meeting Zelensky and European leaders at the White House.
Ready for elections in Ukraine – Zelensky
During a meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he is ready to talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Maloney, Finland’s President Alexander Stubb are also going to attend the meeting to be held at the White House between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to end the war in Ukraine.
