Women will appear for the first time in UPSC NDA exam today


New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the NDA (National Defense Academy) exam tomorrow. Today’s NDA exam will be historic as women are going to appear in it for the first time. More than two lakh female candidates are ready to appear in the exam for the first time. The first shift exam will start at 10 AM while the second shift exam will start at 2 PM. This exam will be conducted to recruit 400 vacancies in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

UPSC has also released some guidelines regarding the exam on its official website upsc.gov.in. The exam will be conducted with the COVID-19 protocol at various exam centers across the country. Everyone has to come wearing a face mask. It will be mandatory to maintain social distancing in the examination center.
The gate will be closed 10 minutes before the exam time. Candidates must report by 9.50 am. Mobile phones, pen drives, smart watches or other electronic items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
