Winter Vacation: In view of the severe cold, winter vacation has been announced in the districts of Uttar Pradesh. In the same sequence, winter vacation (winter vacation) has also been done in Mainpuri district of UP from 31 December to 14 January 2023. This order has been issued by the Basic Education Department of Mainpuri district. Schools up to class VIII in Mainpuri district will remain closed till January 14. It has been said in the official notification, Mainpuri Basic Education Department has declared a holiday in the eighth class schools from December 31, 2022 to January 14, 2023.
There are many districts where there is no winter vacation. Due to the 10th and 12th board exams, schools will remain open in many districts. Before this, schools in Noida, Meerut and other districts will remain closed till January 1 only.
From the year 2020, there is a 15-day holiday from December 31 to January 14, the winter vacation in all council schools of the state. In the year 2020, it was decided that the schools would function from 8 am to 2 pm from 1 April to 30 September and from 9 am to 3 pm from 1 October to 31 March. Apart from this, there will be summer vacation from 20 May to 15 June.
