Will Humayun Kabir challenge Mamata Banerjee?  ( Kabir)   

Murshidabad: Humayun Kabir    ( Kabir)    who laid the foundation stone of the new Babri Masjid in Murshidabad, West Bengal, has announced his new party. He has named this party Janata Unnayan Party. Along with deciding the party’s name and flag, Humayun Kabir has also finalized his candidates for several seats. He himself has announced that he will contest from two seats. Meanwhile, he has given tickets to two different people named Humayun Kabir in two other constituencies.

After announcing the name of the new party, Humayun Kabir said that he himself will contest from the Rejinagar and Bharatpur assembly constituencies in Murshidabad district. He is also the chairman of the new party. He also said that Haji Imran Hussain will contest from the Rural Kharagpur assembly constituency. Humayun Kabir has been given a ticket from the Bhagwangola assembly constituency. This person is different, but the name is the same. Dr. Humayun Kabir has received a ticket from the Raninagar assembly seat. This person is also different. In total, the Janata Unnayan Party has given tickets to four people named Humayun Kabir.

Wahidur Rahman from Harirampur assembly constituency in South Dinajpur district.
Manisha Pandey will be the candidate from Murshidabad assembly constituency.
Mushkera Bibi will be the candidate from Boisnob Nagar.

Plan for alliance with Owaisi
Humayun Kabir has already made it clear that he will contest the West Bengal assembly elections and will form an alliance with Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM. Kabir was earlier an MLA on a TMC ticket. However, he was expelled from the party after announcing the laying of the foundation stone of the Babri Masjid. After this, he formed a new party. Before TMC, he was also a part of Congress and BJP. Before entering politics, he was in the civil service.
