Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed to have killed senior Hamas leader Mohammad Sinwar during a major military action by the IDF. Let us tell you that Mohammad Sinwar  (Sinwar)  was an influential commander of Hamas’ military faction Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades. He is said to be the younger brother of Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar. He was the third top leader of Hamas after Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya and Yahya Sinwar who were killed earlier.

After the killing of this Hamas military chief, it is now considered that terror in Gaza has ended. The Israeli army is seeing this as a big success. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued an official statement on Tuesday saying that Mohammad Sinwar was targeted during a special operation in the Khan Younis area of ​​​​southern Gaza. This area has been a major center of conflict between Israel and Hamas in recent months. An IDF spokesman said that Sinwar’s death was ensured through accurate intelligence and airstrikes. However, Hamas has not yet confirmed or denied this claim.

He was considered the backbone of writing the script of Hamas’ armed movement in Gaza along with his elder brother Yahya Sinwar. He was one of the main architects of the terrorist attack on Israel on 7 October 2023.
