Tehran: Tensions between the US and Iran continue to escalate. Amidst this, a new billboard has been erected in the heart of the city. It depicts US President Donald Trump and his family standing atop coffins draped in the American flag. The large banner features Trump alongside First Lady Melania Trump and his five children—Ivanka, Donald Jr., Eric, Tiffany, and Barron Trump. The background shows the White House ablaze, and the slogan “Blood for Blood” is clearly inscribed on the billboard   ( Billboards)   in Persian.

This is the second public billboard in Iran targeting Trump in recent weeks. Another billboard had previously depicted Trump inside a coffin; officials had installed a large display at Tehran’s Enghelab Square showing Trump lying in an open black coffin. In that image, the US President’s eyes were closed, his hands were clasped over a red tie resting on his chest, and his feet pointed toward the other end of the coffin.

Iran Uses Billboards to Convey Specific Messages

This is nothing new; Iran has long utilized such billboards to convey political and ideological messages. Since tensions between US and Israeli forces escalated in late February, the country has installed numerous massive displays across Tehran featuring revolutionary imagery, war memorials, and anti-American messages. **Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s Stern Message**
Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has warned in a new statement that if the US continues its attacks, it will be taught “lessons never to be forgotten.” This development follows, by a few days, the appearance of a new billboard and Khamenei’s vow to avenge his father’s killing. He stated that those responsible would not escape punishment. In a message posted on Telegram, Khamenei wrote, “This revenge is our nation’s demand, and it will certainly be carried out.” He also warned that those responsible would “take the unfulfilled wish of dying peacefully in their beds to the grave with them.”

Meanwhile, Trump issued a stern warning to Iran, stating that he had already instructed US officials on what to do should Iran attempt to assassinate him. Trump said, “I have been on their list for a long time. I have given instructions that if anything happens, they should be bombed at a level they have never seen before.”
