Today, in the third phase of Vidhan Sabha elections, voting is going on in 59 seats of Uttar Pradesh and all 117 seats of Punjab. The credibility of all the veteran leaders of UP-Punjab is at stake in this election. Voting started in UP from 7 am. Whereas in Punjab, voting will start from 8 am. While there is a contest between BJP, SP, BSP and Congress in the UP elections, there is a war between Congress, AAP, Akali Dal and BJP in Punjab.
Voting for 59 Vidhan Sabha seats in 16 districts of the state started today (Sunday) at 7 am. Before the commencement of voting, mock polls were also conducted at the polling booths.
Let us inform that in the third phase of the Legislative Assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party was ahead in giving tickets to the leaders with the most criminal image. In the third phase, 52 percent of SP candidates are tainted. At number two, cases are going on against 46 percent of BJP candidates. In the list of giving maximum number of tickets to the tainted, BSP is third, Congress is fourth and Aam Aadmi Party is at number five. BSP’s 39 percent, Congress 36 percent and Aam Aadmi Party’s 22 percent candidates are tainted.
In the third phase of the UP Legislative Assembly elections, 627 candidates are in the fray. Here 15 thousand 557 polling stations have been set up for voting. Today polling will be held in Hathras, Firozabad, Etah, Etawah, Mainpuri, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Hamirpur and Mahoba.

There are 1209 male and 93 female candidates in the Punjab Legislative Assembly elections. A large number of security forces have been deployed at the polling booths for voting.
