Washington: America’s bias was clearly visible in its reactions to the November 10th attack near the Red Fort in Delhi and the blast in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad. The US responded quickly and strongly to the Islamabad blast, while its reaction to the Delhi blast came 24 hours later and after its reaction to Pakistan. This exposes America’s double standard    (double standard )    to the world.

Strong response to Islamabad
The US responded strongly immediately after the Islamabad blast. In it, the US Embassy in Islamabad wrote, “The United States stands in solidarity with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism. Our condolences go out to the families of those who lost their lives in today’s senseless and senseless attack. We wish the injured a speedy recovery. We condemn this attack and all forms of terrorism and remain committed to supporting the Pakistani government’s efforts to ensure peace and stability in their country.”

Only a formal response to the Delhi blast after 24 hours
While the US reacted strongly to the attack in Pakistan immediately after the attack and strongly condemned terrorism, the US ambassador responded to the incident in India’s capital, Delhi, a day before Islamabad, only 24 hours later. This too, only provided a formal statement. It is also important to note that the US responded to the attack in India after condemning the Pakistan blast. Regarding the attack in New Delhi, US Ambassador Sergio Gor wrote, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those killed in the horrific explosion in New Delhi last night. We wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
Trump’s Double Standards Exposed
The US’s reactions to New Delhi and Islamabad reflect its double standards on terrorism. The US has become increasingly negative toward India since New Delhi refused to bow to its tariff orders. Since then, US President Donald Trump has been kind to Pakistan.
