Washington: Donald Trump has sharply criticized former US President Joe Biden, saying that Chinese President Xi Jinping was “100 percent right” when he suggested America was heading toward decline.
In a statement shared on social media, Trump said the Biden administration harmed the United States through its economic policies, border management, and trade decisions. He claimed that under his current administration, the country has witnessed rapid economic growth, stronger stock markets, and increased job opportunities within the first 16 months.
Trump also stated that foreign investment in the US has increased significantly and that America’s global position has become stronger. He expressed hope for improved relations with China in the coming years.
The remarks are being viewed as part of the growing political narrative ahead of upcoming US elections. Opposition leaders, however, have questioned Trump’s claims and accused him of using aggressive political rhetoric.
