International:From Washington, D.C., US President Donald Trump has congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his party’s recent electoral victory, describing it as “historic and decisive.”

According to a White House spokesperson, Trump also praised Modi’s leadership during a recent phone conversation, stating that “India is fortunate to have a leader like Prime Minister Modi.”

In the elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a major win in West Bengal, gaining more than a two-thirds majority and ending the long-standing rule of Mamata Banerjee.

The party also retained power in Assam for a third consecutive term, marking another significant political achievement.
