Delhi: A war has broken out between the National Commission for Women (NCW) and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra on the social media platform X. An FIR has been demanded against Mahua Moitra for the indecent remarks made against the National Commission for Women chairperson Rekha Sharma. This demand has been made by the National Commission for Women itself. On this demand of the National Commission for Women, the TMC MP has hit back at X.

Responding to the NCW, the TMC MP said to X, ‘Delhi (Delhi ) Police should take immediate action on these orders. If you need me for immediate arrest in the next 3 days, I will be in Nadia area of West Bengal.’ Along with this, she said, ‘Yes! I can hold my umbrella myself.’

Reacting to the comment of this user, Mahua Moitra said, ‘She (Rekha Sharma) is very busy handling her boss’s pajamas.’ The National Commission for Women Chairperson has demanded action on this comment of Mahua Moitra.
NCW sought report within 3 days
NCW has called it an indecent comment and insulting. Also said that this is a violation of a woman’s right to dignity. Moitra’s comment has been strongly condemned. Also demanding an FIR against Moitra, it said that a detailed action report should be told to the Commission within 3 days.
