New Delhi. In the second season of Shark Tank India, we are getting a chance to see the ideas of different types of entrepreneurs. Many business ideas are brilliant, but many fail to attract the sharks. In the trailer released for its next episode, a team of 3 people is shown pitching an idea for a drone company on the show. Among them, there are 2 men and one woman. Both the boys are fresh out of college, while the girl is in her fourth year of college.
Shark appreciated this team a lot and Namita Thapar said that it is amazing to see a girl in the team. These entrepreneurs have demanded 75 lakh rupees in exchange of 4 percent equity from the shark. When asked about the financial status of the company, the entrepreneurs said that they had earned 85 lakh rupees last month. Also, they hope that this year they will earn 4 crore rupees.
Sharks praised
After hearing about his financial status, Amit Jain of CarDekho.Com said, “Kya baat hai.” At the same time, Lancekart’s Piyush Bansal said, “I was feeling more and more.” In fact, it has often been seen in Shark Tank that entrepreneurs demand much more funding than revenue generation and offer very little equity. In this case, it seems that the sharks liked the funding of 75 lakhs on the income of 85 lakhs of these people. Now it has to be seen whether the deal between the sharks and these entrepreneurs will be finalized or not.
