G.D.N: Following the resounding success of *Dhuranthar*, the release date for actor R. Madhavan’s highly anticipated biopic drama, *G.D.N*, has finally been announced—a moment everyone has been eagerly awaiting for a long time. On Tuesday, the filmmakers released a new poster for the movie, confirming that this film—directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar—will hit theaters on July 17. The newly released poster features Madhavan portraying a young G.D. Naidu,  ( Naidu )   standing before a crowd with his hands folded in a gesture of respect. This poster of Madhavan has taken social media by storm.

Poster Released for R. Madhavan’s New Film

This poster for the film *G.D.N* offers a glimpse into the life of the renowned industrialist G.D. Naidu. The poster also features Dushara Vijayan and Sathyaraj. Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar and produced by Varghese Moolan Pictures in collaboration with Tiranga Films, the movie is set to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. In the caption accompanying the post, the actor wrote: “Vision. Innovation. Legacy. #GDN — Inspired by the extraordinary journey of G.D. Naidu. Releasing worldwide on July 17, 2026.”

Madhavan to Bring G.D. Naidu’s Life to the Big Screen

In addition to R. Madhavan, the film features a stellar cast including Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Priyamani, and Dushara Vijayan, who will be seen in pivotal roles. *G.D.N* is based on the life of industrialist G.D. Naidu, often hailed as the “Edison of India.” The film narrates his inspiring story, vividly bringing to life how one of India’s greatest inventors transformed the world through his ideas and innovations.
