Varanasi. After the inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham by PM Narendra Modi on December 13, there is a continuous crowd of devotees reaching here. Huge crowds are arriving to visit Baba Vishwanath Dham, which has become a challenge for the administration to handle. The devotion of the devotees can be gauged from the fact that on January 1, 5 lakh people visited Vishwanath Dham. The situation has become such that the Vishwanath temple administration has to fix the VIP rules and the timing of the visit of the residents of Kashi. VIP Darshan has been stopped till further orders.
The situation has changed after the inauguration of Vishwanath Dham. Even on normal days, 60 to 70 thousand people are visiting Vishwanath Dham every day, but all the records were broken when 5 lakh people visited on January 1. Suddenly due to this crowd of devotees, there has been a huge jam situation in the Chowk, Bansphat, Gaudolia, Church of Banaras. At the same time, the crowd inside the temple is also increasing. In such a situation, the temple administration has changed the VIP darshan by issuing an advisory on Sunday. In this, a new rule has also been made on VIP Darshan, appealing to the residents of Kashi.
VIP Darshan has been completely banned. This ban will remain in force till further orders. Along with this, the residents of Kashi have been appealed not to have darshan from 7 am to 2 pm. Apart from this, two wheeler, four wheeler vehicles have been banned at Gaudolia only. The process of arrival of devotees is still going on. This is the first time that lakhs of people have reached Kashi to celebrate the New Year.
