Rampur: The distribution of property of Rampur Nawab family will be according to Sharia. After a long legal battle of about 49 years, now the last ruler of Rampur, Nawab Raza Ali Khan, has finally approved the distribution of assets worth more than 26 billion. On the orders of the Supreme Court, while hearing this popular case going on in the District Judge’s court, the court gave its verdict on Wednesday. On the basis of the decision of the court, the property of the Nawab will be divided among all the 16 heirs.
The Supreme Court’s decision came in the year 2019 regarding the property distribution dispute. Now this property is to be divided among 16 people, including late Murtaza Ali Khan’s daughter Nikhat Bi, son Murad Mian and former MP Begum Nurbano, his son Naved Mian and daughters of late Mickey Mian from the other side. Among them, Begum Nurbano, Nawab Kazim Ali Khan may live in Rampur, but Talat Fatima Hasan wife Kamil Hasan lives in California. Saman Ali Khan aka Saman Khan lives in Maharashtra, Syed Sirajul Hasan lives in Bangalore and Gizala Maria Saigberg lives in Germany. Other people of Nawab family live from Delhi, Lucknow to other places. In order to comply with the order, on behalf of the District Judge, the Advocate Commissioner was surveyed and listed the properties of the Nawabs.
There are properties like Kothi Khasbagh, Benazir Bagh, Nawab Railway Station, Sarkari Kunda and Lakhi Bagh of Shahbad, etc. of the Nawab family. Apart from these, there are valuable items like jewelry and weapons. All this has to be divided. This property was claimed by 18 people. Two have died during the trial. Neither of them has any heir. So now this property has to be distributed among 16 people only.
During the hearing in the matter of distribution of property of Rampur Nawab family, objections kept coming up from time to time, which were resolved and now the District Judge has written his order on the process of partition in 34 pages. However, the Supreme Court has to pronounce its verdict on the partition scheme. After this, the heir will get possession of the movable and immovable property of Khasbagh Palace, Kothi Benazir, Nawab Railway Station, Sarkari Kunda and Kothi Shahabad.
