New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting of the Council of Ministers today i.e. on 29 January. In the new year 2023, this will be the first meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Modi government. In this meeting to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all Union Ministers, Ministers of State-Independent Charge and Ministers of State of the Central Government will participate. The meeting of the Council of Ministers, called before the last full budget of the tenure of the government, is said to be very important in terms of the budget session. The budget session of the Parliament is going to start from January 31 this time.
According to sources, in the meeting of the Council of Ministers called on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can give special instructions to all the ministers regarding the budget session. Since this will be the last full budget of the current term of the Modi government, the Prime Minister would like that after the presentation of the budget, all the ministers of the government should try to highlight its public welfare aspects as much as possible and reach them to the public.
Programs related to G-20 can also be discussed
In the meeting, the programs related to the chairmanship of G-20, which India got, can also be discussed. About two hundred programs related to G-20 are to be held at more than 50 places across the country. The Government of India does not want to leave any stone unturned to make these programs grand. The government also wants to ensure maximum public participation in these programmes.
In the meeting, many ministers can also give a presentation regarding the functioning of their respective ministries. However, amid reports of reshuffle and expansion in the Modi cabinet, the meeting of the Union Council of Ministers to be held on January 29 is also being told as the last meeting of the current Council of Ministers of the Modi government.
If sources are to be believed, the exercise of reshuffle in the cabinet can start only a few days after this meeting to be held on January 29. Overall, this first meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Modi government to be held in 2023 is going to be very important in many ways.
