The government will bear the expenses of the elderly to go to Mahakumbh( Mahakumbh)

Chandigarh: The Haryana government will provide free darshan of Prayagraj Mahakumbh  ( Mahakumbh) o the elderly of the state. No one will have to pay any fee for this. This information was given by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini himself. CM Saini said on his X handle that he chaired a review meeting of the work done in 100 days of the non-stop government with the administrative secretaries of the state in Chandigarh. Under the ‘Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana’, now the elderly family members of the poor families of the state will be provided darshan of Mahakumbh Teerth in Prayagraj at government expense.

CM Naib Saini gave orders to the officials

Naib Saini said that all the officers should ensure to update the CM Announcement Portal continuously and implement it seriously with special focus on ‘Citizen Charter’ in their respective departments. The officers should take all the works received through public dialogue by Team Haryana seriously and resolve them.

He said that the Administrative Secretary should conduct surprise inspections in the departments under their respective departments so that there is no delay in the works of public interest. All the officers should prepare public welfare schemes in their respective departments as per the Sankalp Patra and ensure their implementation as soon as possible. Resolve the complaints of the general public with transparency and promptness, accountability will be fixed in case of delay.

Review meeting of Women and Child Development Department

At the same time, while conducting a review meeting of the Women and Child Development Department, CM Saini said that under the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign, women sarpanches will be made brand ambassadors of their respective villages. 4000 Anganwadi centers have been developed into sports-based education and nutrition centers. Now 10,000 Anganwadi centers in the state will be developed as capable Anganwadi centers in the next five years. Instructions have been given to the officials to make Haryana the first state to become stunting-free by improving the nutrition level of children.

CM Saini also reviewed these schemes

CM Saini also reviewed many schemes including Amrit Sarovar and MNREGA. He said that in the meeting we also gave necessary guidelines to the officials about the overall development schemes and projects in rural areas including Amrit Sarovars, MNREGA scheme. Under the expansion of Amrit Sarovar Yojana, 100 new Amrit Sarovars are being built in every district of the state. Under this, 2200 new Amrit Sarovars will be constructed in Haryana. The work of digging and removing silt for Amrit Sarovars will be done through MNREGA.
