New Delhi. Massive protests took place in many parts of the country today against the Central Government’s Agneepath scheme in view of the short-term service of four years in the Army. Actually, the students are protesting against ending the pension under this scheme. Apart from this, students are also protesting that the maximum age limit for Agniveers is only 21 years. Now the Ministry of Defense has decided that this year a one-time relaxation of two years will be given in the recruitment process. That is, the candidates will be able to fill the form this year till the age of 23 years. Since there has been no recruitment in the army for two years, a one-time relaxation of two years has been given in the proposed recruitment for 2022.
Lump sum exemption up to 2 years
Thus, youth up to 23 years of age can apply for Agneepath Recruitment Process 2022. Although only youth between 17 and a half years to 21 years are eligible to apply under Agneepath scheme, but this year youth up to 23 years can apply for it. They have been given a one-time relaxation of two years. The entry age for all new recruits in the Armed Forces has been fixed at 17 to 21 years during the initiation process of the Agneepath scheme. But this year, youth up to 23 years of age will be able to fill the form with a one-time relaxation of two years.
Government will provide better option after 4 years
It is worth noting that the government has now started a four-year short-term job process for recruitment in the army. Under this, 46 thousand soldiers will be recruited this year. Six months training will be given during this four year period. After 4 years, some recruits will get a permanent post in the army, while most will end their service in the army. For those whose service will be terminated, the government has announced to give concession in many types of opportunities.
If they want to pursue further studies, they will be given a 12th certificate. Apart from this, if they want to do a job, then they will get exemption in the police force of the central and state government. Apart from this, if they want to do self-employment, then the bank will give them a loan at a low interest rate.
