New Delhi: A small mistake in primary school exam results in Gujarat’s Dahod district has sparked controversy and raised concerns about the integrity of the education system.
Vanshiben Manishbhai, a class 4 student, received her result sheet and was surprised to see the marks (marks) she got in two subjects. While he scored 211 marks out of 200 in Gujarati, the scoresheet showed him 212 marks out of 200 in Maths subject.
However, it was later revealed that a mistake had been made while preparing the result. Subsequently, a revised result sheet was released, giving 191 out of 200 marks in Gujarati and 190 out of 200 marks in Maths. At the same time, there was no change in the marks of other subjects. In the new result released by SLUK, Vanshiben has got 934 marks out of 1000.
This mistake attracted a lot of people’s attention. In fact, when Vanshiben proudly shared her result with her family, everyone was quite surprised, but later on closer inspection, mistakes were found, after which the marks in the scoresheet were corrected and a new scoresheet was issued.
In response to this mistake, district education officials have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the mistake and prevent similar incidents in the future.
