Pahalgam: A big revelation has been made on the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. Evidence of three terrorists involved in the attack being Pakistanis has come to light. These are the terrorists who were killed in Operation Mahadev. The operational name of terrorist Suleman (Suleman-) Shah involved in the Pahalgam attack was Faizal Jat. Suleman of A++ category was the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack. He has been killed in Operation Mahadev.
The name of the third terrorist was Jibran
The operational name of the second terrorist Abu Hamza involved in the attack was Afghan. He was an A-grade commander level terrorist. The operational name of the third terrorist Yasir was Jibran. He was also an A category terrorist commander.
Pakistani voter ID cards found
Security agencies have found Pakistani voter ID cards from Suleman and Abu Hamza, both their names have been found in the voter lists of Lahore and Gujranwala. The terrorists have been identified from the fingerprints found on the satellite phone.
Karachi chocolates were also found with the terrorists
These terrorists were residents of Rawalakot and Kasur in PoK. Chocolates made in Karachi were found with the terrorists. This group of terrorists had reached 2 km away from Baisaran Valley on 21 April. The GPS location of the phone has confirmed their involvement in the Pahalgam attack.
Recovered weapons were also examined
The weapons recovered in Operation Mahadev have been examined. Ballistic tests have confirmed their use in the Pahalgam attack. The DNA of the terrorists has also been matched. Only after this it was confirmed that the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack were Pakistanis, who were killed under Operation Mahadev.

Wrong sketches were released initially
After the Pahalgam terror attack, the Jammu and Kashmir Police released sketches of Hashim Musa, Ali Bhai alias Talha and local Adil Hussain Thokar on 24 April 2025. After Operation Mahadev in July, the NIA clarified that these sketches were based on a picture found on a phone from a shootout in December 2024. The actual attackers were different terrorists. This is how confusion spread.
What is Operation Mahadev?
Operation Mahadev is a counter-terrorism operation jointly conducted by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir. Its main objective was to eliminate the terrorists responsible for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April 2025, in which 26 innocent tourists were killed. In this operation, Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Hashim Musa alias Suleman Shah, who was the mastermind of this attack. Three terrorists were killed in this.
