Saurashtra will face Vidarbha in the final ( Saurashtra) 

Vijay Hazare Trophy: The Saurashtra team defeated Punjab by 9 wickets in the second semi-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 and made a spectacular entry into the final. Vishwaraj Jadeja played a brilliant innings for the team. Punjab batted first and scored 291 runs. Saurashtra   ( Saurashtra)   then chased down the target without any difficulty.

Saurashtra will face Vidarbha in the final
Now, in the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26, the Vidarbha team will face the Saurashtra team. This match will be played on January 18 at Ground-1 of the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Vidarbha had defeated Karnataka by 6 wickets in the first semi-final.

Chetan Sakariya took four wickets
For the Punjab team, Anmolpreet Singh scored 100 runs off 105 balls. Besides him, Prabhsimran Singh scored 87 runs. Ramandeep Singh played an innings of 42 runs. Thanks to these players, the Punjab team managed to reach 291 runs. For Saurashtra, Chetan Sakariya took the most wickets, four. Apart from him, Ankur Pawar and Chirag Jani took two wickets each.

Vishwaraj Jadeja scored a powerful century
For the Saurashtra team, captain Harvik Desai and Vishwaraj Jadeja opened the innings. These two players put on a 172-run partnership for the first wicket and laid the foundation for the victory. Both players played strokes all around the ground and showcased a brilliant display of batting. Hardik was dismissed after scoring 64 runs. After that, Vishwaraj scored 165 runs off 127 balls, which included 18 fours and three sixes. Prerak Mankad contributed 52 runs off 49 balls. These three batsmen made the match completely one-sided. Vishwaraj received the Player of the Match award for his excellent performance.
