Pakistan’s opener Mohammad Rizwan continues his stellar performance with the bat in T20 International cricket. Wicket-keeper batsman Rizwan continued his impressive performance of the T20 World Cup in the first match of the ongoing T20 series against West Indies. He played another explosive innings of 78 runs off 52 balls with the help of 10 fours in the first T20 International against West Indies at the National Stadium in Karachi on Monday. On the basis of this innings, Rizwan has completed 1200 runs in T20 International cricket in 2021.

Rizwan has completed these runs 1200 runs in 24 innings of 27 matches. He now has 1201 runs this year. During this his strike rate has been 132.26. The Pakistani batsman has scored these runs at an average of 75.06. Rizwan has 11 half-centuries and one century so far in T20 Internationals this year. Due to his performance, he is considered to be the best batsman in 2021. Rizwan has played the best innings of 104 not out this year. During this, he has hit 105 fours and 38 sixes. He has also become the first batsman to hit 100 fours in T20 Internationals in a year.
Talking about Rizwan’s overall T20 career, this is his 12th fifty in T20 International. In his T20 career, he has scored 3862 runs in 135 innings at an average of 39. It has one century and 27 half-centuries. He also has 101 sixes so far. Indian batsman Virat Kohli and West Indies explosive batsman Chris Gayle are not even around Pakistani batsman Rizwan. Kohli and Gayle have not been able to touch the 1000 runs mark in T20 Internationals in a year. Kohli had scored the highest 641 runs in 2016, while Gayle has not been able to score even half of it.
