New Delhi. Pakistan cricket team is counted among the most dangerous teams. Struggled and won against an underestimated team like Netherlands and played like a champion against Sri Lanka. On October 10, Pakistan team created history by winning while chasing the biggest  (biggest) target in the World Cup. Two batsmen made this victory possible for the team.
Pakistan registered its name in the pages of history by performing historically in the ICC ODI World Cup. While playing its second match in the World Cup being played in India, this team did something amazing which no other team had done before. Batting first, the Sri Lankan team scored a huge score of 344 runs for 9 wickets against Pakistan. Despite losing two wickets for just 37 runs, the team achieved this target and avenged the defeat against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup.
Pakistan created history
Now Pakistan has become the team to win by successfully chasing the biggest target in the history of ICC ODI World Cup. Ireland’s feat against England in the World Cup played in 2011 was till now at number one in the pages of records but Pakistan left it behind. Ireland achieved the target of 328 runs while Pakistan team won by scoring 345 runs.

In the match played between Bangladesh and West Indies in 2019, the target of 322 runs was successfully chased. Bangladesh team had done this wonders but now this team has slipped to third place. In the 2015 World Cup, Bangladesh won against Scotland while chasing the target of 319 runs.

2 batsmen turned the match
Pakistan team had lost two wickets for 37 runs. Openers Abdullah Shafiq and Mohammad Rizwan not only handled Pakistan’s innings but also put the match out of Sri Lanka’s reach by making a partnership of 176 runs. Shafiq was out after playing an inning of 112 runs while Rizwan played an unbeaten inning of 131 runs in 121 balls and returned after finishing the match.
