RCB did such a feat for the first time( first time) 

IPL: RCB team defeated Chennai Super Kings by 2 runs in a thrilling match. In this match, the victory of any team did not seem certain till the last ball. But in the end RCB won. RCB scored 213 runs while batting first, in response to which CSK team could score only 211 runs. This is the first time    ( first time)  in the history of IPL, when RCB has defeated Chennai Super Kings twice in the league stage. Earlier, it could not do so in the league stage of IPL. Before this match, in the current season, RCB won the match against CSK by 50 runs.

Ayush Mahatre played a fighting innings
Chennai Super Kings had a bad start when Sheikh Rashid returned to the pavilion after scoring just 14 runs. After this, Sam Karan also could not play a big innings and was out after scoring 5 runs. But after the fall of two wickets, young Ayush Mahatre and Ravindra Jadeja batted brilliantly. First, both of them completed their half-centuries in a brilliant manner. Mahatre scored 94 runs in 48 balls in the match. He hit 9 fours and five sixes in his innings. Lungi Ngidi tried to turn the match by taking two wickets in two consecutive balls. He had dismissed Mahatre and Dewald Brevis in consecutive balls. Jadeja scored 77 runs, but he could not lead the team to victory. Yash Dayal bowled the 20th over for RCB and he bowled brilliantly in this over. Apart from him, Ngidi took three wickets in the match.

Kohli and Bethel hit half-centuries
Jacob Bethel and Virat Kohli batted brilliantly for the RCB team. These two batsmen shared a 97-run partnership for the first wicket. Bethel scored 55 runs. Kohli scored 62 runs in 33 balls, which included five fours and five sixes. Both of them gave the RCB team the platform from which the later batsmen could build a big castle. Romario Shepherd scored 53 runs in the last overs. It was because of these players that the RCB team was able to cross the 200-run mark and the team scored a total of 213 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. The CSK team could only score 211 runs.

CSK bowlers flopped
For Chennai Super Kings, Matisha Pathirana certainly gave 36 runs in four overs and took three wickets. Apart from him, the rest of the bowlers could not show much magic and proved to be a flop badly. Khaleel Ahmed conceded a total of 65 runs in his three overs.
