Delhi: On the occasion of Vijayadashami, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the Shastra Puja in Kutch, Gujarat. During this, the Defense Minister once again issued a stern warning to Pakistan. ( Pakistan ) He said that if Pakistan dares to do anything in the Sir Creek area, its history and geography will be changed. The Defense Minister said that Pakistan should remember that the road to the creek passes through Karachi. Singh said, “In the 1965 war, the Indian Army demonstrated the capability to reach Lahore. Today, in 2025, Pakistan should remember that one route to Karachi passes through this creek.
If there is even the slightest flaw in its intentions, India will change its geography.
Rajnath Singh has been performing the Shastra Puja on Dussehra for several years. He also performed it as the Union Home Minister in the previous NDA government. Referring to the border dispute between India and Pakistan over Sir Creek, the Defense Minister said that India has repeatedly tried to resolve the issue through dialogue, but Pakistan’s intentions remain unclear. The recent expansion of its military infrastructure in areas adjacent to Sir Creek reflects its intentions.
“India has shown that it can harm Pakistan whenever it wants.”
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also mentioned Operation Sindoor today. He said that the Indian Army has successfully achieved all the objectives of Operation Sindoor and that its intention was not to start a war with Pakistan by escalating tensions. Singh said, “Pakistan tried very hard to penetrate our air defense system but failed. India has exposed Pakistan’s military capabilities to the world. India has shown that it can harm Pakistan whenever and wherever it wishes.”
“Our fight against terrorism continues”
Singh said India exercised restraint because its military action was against terrorism. He said, “The objective of Operation Sindoor was not to escalate it and wage war. I am happy that the Indian Army has successfully achieved all the military objectives of Operation Sindoor. But our fight against terrorism continues.” The Defense Minister made these remarks nearly five months after the conflict between the two neighboring countries.
