Rajasthan Royals hit six to win, RCB got fourth defeat of the season

New Delhi: The 39th match of IPL 2022 was played between two Royal teams. On one side there was Royal Challengers Bangalore of Faf du Plessis, while on the other side there was Rajasthan Royals captained by Sanju Samson. Rajasthan got the victory. This is the sixth win for Rajasthan Royals in this season, while RCB has suffered the fourth defeat in IPL 2022. In this match, Rajasthan won by 29 runs.

In this match, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bowl. This decision of the captain proved to be correct, as the team got early wickets. However, the Rajasthan team had put 144 runs on the scoreboard thanks to a strong half-century from Riyan Parag. Parag scored 56 off 31 balls and skipper Sanju Samson scored 27 runs. 17 runs Ashwin and Mitchell scored 16 runs.

For RCB, Mohammad Siraj, Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasanga took two each, while Harshal Patel took one wicket. At the same time, chasing the target of 145 runs, RCB did not get a good start.
