Lucknow: A meeting of Lucknow Green Corridor Project was convened under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra. The project was presented by Akshay Tripathi, Vice-Chairman, Lucknow Development Authority.
In the meeting, regarding making available two hectare land of Municipal Corporation and Uptron for monetization, it was told that the said land is still under consideration in Hon’ble Supreme Court. On this, instructions were given by the Chief Secretary to constitute a committee of Special Secretary, Urban Development, Municipal Commissioner and Vice-Chairman, Lavipra to conduct an examination of its legal issue.
Apart from this, in respect of two hectare land of Irrigation Department located in Madharmau village, it was directed by the Chief Secretary that Irrigation Department should inspect it again and keeping in view the need of its workshop, transfer it to some other place and transfer the plot to LDA. Give your consent for the transfer.
Regarding 12 hectare land of Nazul Department, it was said by the Chief Secretary that after examining the said land as per rules, necessary action should be taken to transfer it to Lucknow Development Authority. It was also directed that necessary seed money arrangement should be ensured to start the first phase of the project at the earliest.
Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi, Principal Secretary Housing Deepak Kumar, Special Secretary Urban Development Anil Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Ranjan Kumar, District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash and Secretary of the Authority Pawan Kumar Gangwar and other officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
