Disha Patani says that she is seen more by the audience as a diva than film makers. He is happy with his image among the people and is also grateful for it. According to the actress, she has played glamorous characters in only two films ‘Malang’ and ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’.
Disha Patani says, ‘It is a perception and I am grateful that I have some kind of identity. There is nothing negative in this. Being recognized for anything is a big deal. I see people come to me and give me different types of things.
According to the media report, Disha Patani further said, ‘This is the perception among the audience more than the filmmakers. Filmmakers are open to artists doing different types of work. They feel that it will be better if the artist can come out of his comfort zone.
The actress said that in her next films, the audience will get to see a new aspect of her personality. She will next be seen in ‘Ek Villain Returns’, a sequel to the 2014 hit ‘Ek Villain’. He is also a part of the action film ‘Yodha’ starring Sidharth Malhotra. She also has ‘Project K’ with Prabhas. He has one more film, which is titled- ‘KTina’.
Disha further said, ‘I get bored easily. I can’t repeat the same thing. All these movies are different from each other. I hope people will see me differently through these films. In ‘Ek Villain Returns’, she plays Rasika, a Marathi woman who believes that it is good to be greedy.
Disha says, ‘My character is greedy, she wants certain things in life and she will do anything to get it. She uses men as something to get what she wants.
Disha Patani worked according to Mohit Suri’s vision. She says, ‘I follow the director’s instructions. For this film and character, I had to speak Marathi and do some work on the character, which was a bit difficult.
Apart from Disha Patani, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ also stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. The film will release on July 29.
