PM Navinchandra Ramgoolam to visit India next week ( Navinchandra ) 

New Delhi: Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra     ( Navinchandra )  Ramgoolam spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone on Monday. During the call, both leaders reiterated their commitment to further strengthening relations between the two countries. PM Modi told Mauritian Prime Minister Ramgoolam that he was looking forward to welcoming him to India next week for the ‘AI Impact’ conference. PM Modi shared this information on the social media platform X. The ‘AI Impact’ international summit is scheduled to be held in Delhi from February 15 to 20.

In his post on X, PM Modi wrote, “Happy to receive a call from my friend, Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam. We reviewed the progress in the comprehensive cooperation between India and Mauritius since our memorable meeting in Varanasi last year. We reaffirmed our commitment to further strengthening the special, historical, and people-centric ties that unite our two countries. India and Mauritius will continue to work together to achieve shared objectives of peace and stability in the Indian Ocean region. I look forward to welcoming him to India next week for the AI ​​Impact Summit.”

AI Impact Summit to be held in Delhi
The ‘AI Impact’ international summit is scheduled to be held in Delhi from February 15 to 20. The main inaugural event will be held at Bharat Mandapam on February 19, along with several bilateral meetings. Last month, the Delhi government had directed the PWD and other civic bodies to ensure that the arrangements made for the international event were better than the standards set during the G20 summit. Officials said that during the summit, various heads of state, foreign delegates, heads of major international organizations, and CEOs of top companies in the AI ​​sector are expected to arrive in Delhi with their families.
