Delhi: The budget was presented in the House on Tuesday, the second day of the monsoon session. All the opposition leaders have raised questions on this budget. Along with this, they have also targeted the central government. Congress is going to protest against this budget in the Parliament premises on Wednesday at 10 am. Leaders of other opposition parties can also join Congress (Mallikarjun) in this protest.
The budget is zero in the name of development – Pramod Tiwari
Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Tiwari said that this budget is zero in the name of development. The party leaders will protest outside the Parliament regarding this budget. Congress MPs will also raise their voice inside the Parliament. This budget is against the federal structure of India.

Congress MPs as well as India Block leaders also attended this meeting. During this, it was decided that protests would be held inside and outside Parliament against the budget.
Importance given to Andhra Pradesh and Bihar in the budget

Reacting to the Union Budget, Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that this is a save chair budget. Along with this, Chidambaram took a dig at the government and said that he is happy that Finance Minister Sitharaman has read the Congress’ 2024 manifesto after the results of the Lok Sabha elections.
