No relief from heat in Delhi( Delhi)

New Delhi: Many states of the country including Delhi,( Delhi)  Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are suffering from severe heat. People are falling ill due to the havoc of severe heat. In many states, there are reports of people dying due to heat. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana during the next 24 hours. The Meteorological Department says that the maximum temperature in these states is between 43-45°C. Maximum temperature is also being recorded above 45 degrees Celsius in Haryana-Chandigarh, some parts of North Rajasthan and different areas of Uttar Pradesh.

Strong winds will blow in Rajasthan

The maximum temperature in Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Bikaner divisions of Rajasthan was recorded two to five degrees Celsius above normal on Wednesday. There is a possibility of a slight drop in the maximum temperature in the next 48 hours and with this, the temperature is likely to be recorded at 42-44 degrees during the night in Bikaner, Bharatpur, Jaipur divisions. Strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers in some parts of the state.

Chances of heavy rain in these states

While on one hand people are troubled by the scorching heat, some states of the country have got relief from the heat due to rain during the last 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan, Goa, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next 24 hours. Heavy rains may also occur in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. During this time, there may be rainfall up to 64.5-204.4 mm.

How will the weather be in Uttarakhand

It rained at many places in Uttarakhand on Wednesday, which brought great relief to the people who were suffering from the havoc of intense heat for a long time. According to the information received from the weather center, due to rain, the temperature has dropped by two to four degrees in the plains and four to six degrees Celsius in the hilly areas. According to this, the temperature in Dehradun is likely to remain around 38 to 39 degrees Celsius on Thursday as well, while rain is expected to continue in both Garhwal and Kumaon regions including Dehradun, Tehri and Pithoragarh.
