Multiple explosions in Karachi ( Karachi)

Karachi: Reports have emerged of multiple explosions near Chaurangi in Karachi,   ( Karachi)   Pakistan. Along with the blasts, there are reports of heavy gunfire on the city’s University Road. Regarding the alleged terrorist attack on the Rangers office in Karachi, the incident reportedly took place around 8:10 PM on Saturday at the Karachi Transport Company (KTC) office. An initial explosion was followed by a series of subsequent blasts. However, officials have not yet officially confirmed the casualty figures or disclosed the identities of the attackers. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.

Karachi rocked by blasts
According to sources, more than six armed attackers entered the Rangers headquarters complex. Reports indicate that an explosion subsequently occurred at the Rangers headquarters in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area. The blast reportedly shattered windows of nearby buildings and damaged surrounding trees. A sense of panic has gripped the area following the incident. Ambulances and security force vehicles have been spotted at the scene, and some locals were seen nearby.

Four security personnel killed
Initial reports suggest that the attackers opened fire following the explosions. Local sources observed several ambulances transporting injured Pakistani security personnel from the Rangers compound. Unconfirmed reports state that five attackers have been killed so far in this suicide attack, while an encounter with other attackers is ongoing. Meanwhile, there are reports that four security personnel have also lost their lives. An exchange of fire between the two sides is currently underway, and several others have sustained serious injuries. A state of chaos still prevails at the scene.

**8 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan**
Earlier, eight terrorists were killed in two separate operations conducted by security forces in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)—the media wing of the Pakistan Army—stated that security forces carried out two intelligence-based operations in the Kharan and Mastung districts of Balochistan on June 25 and 26. Eight terrorists were killed during these operations. The statement added that weapons, ammunition, IEDs, and motorcycles were also recovered from the slain terrorists.
