More than 15 lakh diyas were lit in Ayodhya’s Deepotsav

Uttar Pradesh has set a new record in the Guinness Book of World Records by lighting about 15 lakh earthen lamps on Ram’s foot. Ayodhya’s Deepotsav is breaking its own record every time. Last year, Deepotsav was celebrated with 12 lakh diyas. Let us tell you that the process of Deepotsav which started from the year 2017 is making a new record every time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also came to participate in the Deepotsav celebrations. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath received a certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records after 15 lakh earthen lamps were lit. Before joining this Deepotsav, PM Modi worshiped Ramlala at Ram Janmabhoomi.

After this, PM Modi lit a lamp in the Ram temple and offered flower petals in front of the idols of Lord Ram and performed aarti. After this, PM Modi also inspected the construction work of the temple.
