Mumbai: French President Emmanuel Macron is arriving in Mumbai ( Mumbai ) today on a two-day visit to India, aiming to elevate the unwavering diplomatic ties between India and France to new heights. During this visit, President Macron and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are scheduled to hold a crucial meeting. During his visit, President Macron will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 17th.

It is reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself may welcome President Macron. Macron will arrive in India today, but his visit will begin on February 17th. On February 17th, a bilateral meeting between the two leaders is expected in Mumbai, where defense, security, and economic relations will be discussed. Following the bilateral talks in Mumbai, the two top leaders will depart together for New Delhi, where they will participate in the ‘AI Impact Summit 2026’.

Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs stated that during this visit, the two leaders will discuss strengthening mutual cooperation in several areas outlined in the Horizon 2047 roadmap. Additionally, the leaders will discuss regional and global issues of mutual benefit, including cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.
