Varanasi. The Muslim side filed two petitions in the Varanasi district court on Wednesday regarding the survey in the Gyanvapi mosque. The first petition was to ban media (Media ) coverage and the second was to ban the ASI survey. The court heard both the petitions together after lunch, in which District Judge Ajay Kumar Vishwesh directed the media not to spread any sensation regarding the survey. The District Judge made it clear that the ASI would keep the survey confidential and submit the report to the court only. Along with this, the court has fixed the date of August 17 for hearing on other petitions.
The Muslim side alleged through the petition that sensation is being spread by the media. Wrong facts are being run. Along with this, he had also demanded a ban on ASI with the help of five points. In this demand, it has mainly been said that the Hindu side has not deposited the fee and writ of ASI. Talking about putting objections from the Hindu side, the court gave the date of August 17, while on the ban on media coverage, District Judge Ajay Kumar Vishwesh said that the media will stay away from the spot of the ASI survey and that no one will run such news. Due to which the sensation spread.
After the hearing, Hindu side’s lawyer Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi while talking to the media said that today two petitions were filed by the Muslim side. In this, one was regarding media coverage and the other was regarding non-deposit of fee before survey by ASI. Regarding media coverage, the court said that the report of the ASI survey will be handed over to the court confidentially. Also instructed the media that it will not cover what was found and what was shown. The media has been instructed to stay away from the coverage of the survey. We were asked to file an objection on the petition of ASI not depositing the fee before the survey, on which the court has given time for 17th August.
