MCC i.e. Medical Counseling Committee has today announced (announced) the date for the start of the counseling process for NEET UG. MCC has issued a notice and given information. In the notice, MCC said that counseling for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 will start from August.
When will it start?
National Medical Council (NMC) Secretary Dr. B Srinivas said in the notice that the counseling process for NEET-UG 2024 will be started from August 14. Also, registration for the counseling process can start from the first week of August. In such a situation, candidates have been advised to visit the MCC website for the latest information and notices regarding counseling.
Srinivas further said, “Counselling will be done for the allocation of about 1.10 lakh MBBS seats in about 710 medical colleges across the country. Apart from this, there will be counselling for 21,000 BDS seats besides AYUSH and nursing seats.”
15 percent reservation under All India quota
MCC will conduct counselling for 15 percent seats of All India quota and 100 percent seats of all AIIMS, JIPMER Pondicherry, seats of all central universities and 100 percent seats of deemed universities. The state medical colleges will conduct counselling for the remaining 85 percent seats.
