New Delhi. Security agencies have got great success against the gang of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Lawrence’s very special henchman Vikram Brar has been arrested by the NIA along with being brought to India. Vikram Brar had recently come into limelight after threatening film actor Salman Khan and in the case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala murder case. At the same time, Sachin ( Sachin ) Bishnoi, the mastermind of the Musewala murder case and a relative of Lawrence Bishnoi, will soon be brought to India from Azerbaijan. Security agencies are making full preparations for this.
Sachin Bishnoi fled to Azerbaijan with the help of a fake passport, where he was taken into custody from Baka last year. In a phone conversation with News18 India, he claimed responsibility for the Moosewala massacre. In such a situation, the Indian security agencies will soon extradite him from Azerbaijan and bring him to Delhi soon.
Salman Khan is accused of threatening
At the same time, Interpol issued a Red Corner Notice (RCN) against gangster Vikram Brar in the month of July on the request of the Indian Investigation Agency. Apart from target killings, he was also involved in arms smuggling and extortion cases in India with the help of dreaded gangsters- Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and others. It was Vikram Brar who had sent a threatening letter to Salim Khan, father of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, through his three companions.
About two dozen cases are registered against Vikram Brar, originally from Rajasthan, in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. After committing several dozen criminal incidents in India, this gangster had fled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and was carrying out anti-India activities from there.
Lawrence used to make extortion calls for Bishnoi gang
According to security agencies, Vikram Brar was working as a ‘Communication Control Room’ (CCS) for the Lawrence Bishnoi terror gang from UAE. This CCR was also facilitating calls to Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar (based in Canada) and on their instructions used to make extortion calls to various people.
According to the NIA investigation, in 2020-22, Vikramjit Singh alias Vikram Brar actively helped Goldie Brar in carrying out the murder of Musewala. Lawrence Bishnoi had also sent extortion money to Brar several times through hawala. Brar had demanded extortion from a doctor in Kurukshetra (Haryana) and also threatened him.
Significantly, the NIA has so far arrested 16 people in the Terrorist-Gangster conspiracy case. Further investigation into the conspiracy is underway as part of NIA’s efforts to destroy the growing nexus between terrorists, gangsters and drug traffickers and destroy their infrastructure including funding channels. In recent months, due to close coordination with central intelligence agencies and consistent follow-up with relevant authorities in foreign countries, NIA has been able to bring back or extradite 5 ‘wanted’ fugitives to India.
