In this warning from MI-5, it has been said that a woman who donated to Britain’s Labor Party is a spy of China. It is being told that till now many British MPs have been caught in the trap of Chinese spy and he has also had close relations with a former MP. According to the Guardian report, MI-5 has said that a woman named Christine Lee is being monitored by security agencies. He is suspected of spying for the Chinese Communist Party.

The British intelligence agency said that this Chinese spy has not yet been arrested and is currently not being expelled from the country. The Parliamentary Security Team of the Speaker of the British Parliament sent a warning message to all MPs and colleagues in Westminster, saying that Christine Li was deliberately engaging in political interference activities on behalf of the United Front Affairs Department of the Communist Party of China.

The speaker has made it clear that at present, no politician in Britain is suspected of being involved in any criminal cases. Christine Lee is a London-based lawyer and has also been the former Chief Legal Adviser of the Chinese Embassy in London. She is currently the Legal Adviser to the Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs. In addition, she is also the secretary of the Inter-Party China Group in Westminster.

MI-5 said in its report that this Chinese spy has donated more than 500,000 pounds to Barry Gardiner, an aide of top Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn, to work in his office with his son Daniel Wilkes. At the same time, he donated more than hundreds of thousands of pounds in several pieces to the Labor Party. Questions were asked about its funding five years ago, but no action was taken. Apart from the Labor Party, this Chinese spy firm donated 5000 pounds to the Liberal Democrats in 2005. In 2013, Christine Lee donated £5,000 again to party leader Ed Davey. At that time Ed Davy was the Energy Minister in the then Coalition Government.

Lee is also said to have links with the Conservative Party. She has met David Cameron several times while he was prime minister. This revelation of Chinese woman’s access to the UK Parliament has stirred the country. It is believed that not only Britain, China’s spies are also spread in many countries like France, America and Netherlands. France had issued a warning in 2011 itself saying that China was deploying a large amount of spies for honeytrap in its country. After this, there was a sourness in the relations between the two countries. The Netherlands made a similar allegation on China in 2016.
