Badaun: A youth allegedly shot dead his friend in Badaun Sadar Kotwali area of ​​Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, the incident took place late on Saturday night and a case of murder has been registered on the Tahrir of the deceased’s wife.

He said that according to the complaint lodged with the police by the wife of the deceased Sharik, last night his husband Sharik alias Khillu (25) stood near the crossroads on the road leading to the Dargah of Chhote Sarkar near Kabulpura locality of the city and interacted with some people. His friend Khalid Siddiqui was also present there.

According to the complaint, Khalid is a SP supporter, while Sharik is a BJP supporter and there was a debate between both of them regarding this matter, both of them started abusing and scuffles. After this Khalid shot Sharik in the stomach. He told that the people present there took Sharik to the district hospital where after first aid he was referred to Bareilly, Sharik died on the way to Bareilly.

The police, who reached the information, took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. Badaun Superintendent of Police (City) Praveen Singh Chauhan said that a young man was shot dead in a minor altercation. He told that there was an argument and dispute going on between the two for several days, but there was no quarrel regarding the election in it. He said that the body has been sent for post-mortem and the accused will be arrested soon.
