Jagadguru Rawal Bhim Shankar Ling Shivacharya, the chief priest of the Kedarnath temple, opened the doors and the devotees present there raised slogans of Har Har Mahadev. With the Meteorological Department forecasting snowfall and rain till April 29, the state government on Sunday closed the registration of pilgrims for Kedarnath till the 30th, while pilgrims at several places including Rishikesh, Gaurikund, Guptkashi and Sonprayag were suspended.
