Today, from April 25, the doors of Kedarnath Dham have opened for the devotees and the devotees are thronging since morning to have darshan. Jagadguru Rawal Bhim Shankar Ling Shivacharya, the chief priest of the Kedarnath temple, opened the doors and the devotees present there raised slogans of Har Har Mahadev. However, in view of the apprehension of bad weather, the devotees are not being allowed to proceed further.

With the Meteorological Department forecasting snowfall and rain till April 29, the state government on Sunday closed the registration of pilgrims for Kedarnath till the 30th, while pilgrims at several places including Rishikesh, Gaurikund, Guptkashi and Sonprayag were suspended. Is being asked to stay there for the time being. Actually, the doors were opened on Tuesday morning at 6.20 am. Despite the extreme cold, thousands of devotees are present here.

Ajay said that despite the extreme cold, thousands of devotees have reached Kedarnath Dham to witness the opening of the doors of the temple. In view of the intermittent snowfall and rain in Kedarnath Dham, he also appealed to the devotees to follow the guidelines issued by the state government before starting the yatra and to make arrangements for accommodation in Kedarnath Dham in advance in view of adverse weather conditions.
