IPL: Rajasthan Royals’ explosive batsman Jos Buttler scored a century in a stormy performance against Delhi Capitals. This is Butler’s third century this season. He has become the first foreign player to do so in IPL history. In IPL 2022, Butler is creating a lot of panic by batting stormy. Before this, he has scored two centuries in the previous matches. With this century, Butler has overtaken Shikhar Dhawan and Chris Gayle, who had scored two centuries each in a season. In IPL history, Virat Kohli scored the most 4 centuries in a season in 2016. Butler played an excellent innings of 116 runs against Delhi. Thanks to his century and Padikal’s half-century, Rajasthan Royals made a big score in the match against Delhi.
Delhi team won the toss and decided to bowl first in the match being played at Wankhede Stadium. Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikal got off to a great start for Rajasthan and both the players hit half-centuries. But at the other end, Jos Buttler continued the rain of fours and sixes and made history by completing his century. Butler completed the century in 57 balls. He is the highest run scorer in this season. Jos Buttler scored 116 runs in 65 balls against Delhi, which included 9 sixes and 9 fours.

Rajasthan made the biggest score of the season
Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson also hit big shots as soon as he came and took the team’s score beyond 200. Rajasthan has scored 222 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. This is the highest score of this season of IPL. Delhi’s bowling was a complete flop in this match and all the bowlers proved to be expensive. Khaleel Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman got one wicket each for Delhi. Now it remains to be seen whether Delhi’s team will be able to achieve the target of 223 runs or not.
